THE ROLE

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, Communication, and Innovation, the Marketing & Events Coordinator plays a key position in bringing creativity and innovation to Servicon’s social media presence and brand awareness. This role is important to Servicon’s success in building positive, long-term, and meaningful relationships by making emotional connections with our employees, clients, and community partners.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Ensure brand look and feel is upheld internally and externally
  • Spearhead and manage the Employee Recognition Program, track, and report monthly to Marketing Director and Senior Management
  • Support Marketing Department with projects such as general brand development within design specifications and budget
  • Collaborate with Communications Manager to ensure communications needs are fulfilled and aligned with the Communications Calendar
  • Align events with Servicon’s purpose and values to boost employee engagement
  • Partner with key stakeholders to understand objectives, budget, requirements, expectations, and timing of all events
  • Envision, manage, and troubleshoot all designated Servicon events from briefing to execution to review, including vendor and contract proposals / management, design, set up / break down, communication, menu planning, amenities, and special requests
  • Liaise with vendors and stakeholders during the event planning process to troubleshoot issues and ensure success of event
  • Demonstrate success on social platforms; assist in development and management of content and social media campaigns

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Minimum one year experience with events, conferences, or customer service
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required
  • Advanced user of social platforms, including mobile marketing, email marketing, and/or social media engagement; Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) including mail merge, charts, graphs, and pivot tables
  • Proficient using Teams or similar internal collaboration and communication apps
  • Advanced experience with HubSpot and MailChimp preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple deadline-driven projects in various degrees of completion at the same time
  • Critical thinker, resourceful, and problem solver with positive can-do attitude
  • Ability to use discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential information from both the client and Servicon
  • Detail oriented and organized in thinking and execution to maintain efficient office, files, database, and information
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines, especially while working remotely
  • Self-starter, motivated and reliable
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, to work with people at all levels
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Collaborative, team player
  • Ability to work flexible hours as required including occasional nights, weekends
