WHO WE ARE

We are women-owned and operated, with nearly 50 years of expertise as a leading environmental solutions provider, focused on infection prevention for complex facilities. As a local, privately held company, we are agile and can maneuver quickly to support the needs of our people and clients.

Our goal is to become a trusted partner, not outsourced vendor.

One of our greatest strengths is our Culture of Caring. From our CEO to the front-line staff, Servicon embodies our vision of creating healthy environments for people to thrive. This results in greater client satisfaction and healthier outcomes. Meticulous adherence to infection prevention standards interwoven with compassionate service delivery is the key to success.

Servicon focuses on three essential elements for establishing a Culture of Caring and Excellence: People, Programs, and Performance. These components represent our strong value alignment, positively impacting patient care, infection prevention, and throughput.

THE ROLE

At Servicon, we are seeking a go-getter Financial Analyst who thrives in a collaborative, yet growing environment.  You will partner closely with Operations to help drive the right financial business behaviors. If you are comfortable being scrappy, like being in the field to understand how each business sector functions while developing your financial acumen, then we’re looking for you!

The Financial Analyst is responsible for financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis in support of Operations and key functional areas.  This role helps drive business insights and strengthen our partnership with Operations and key functional areas.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Analyzes and compare monthly and quarterly financial results and key performance indicators against planned and other internal benchmarks
  • Prepares month end and quarterly financial and management reports
  • Performs complex analysis-related tasks to support long-term planning, strategic plans and initiatives, operating budgets, and business decision-making
  • Collaborates with management and leadership to prepare the budgets, forecasts, and capital plans
  • Assists in developing action plans and recommendations to management by analyzing operational costs and monitoring variances
  • Identifies common themes and trends and opportunities for improvements
  • Responsible for data and reporting integrity, including carefully reviewing data used to anomalies, and system audits to ensure data tracked is accurate
  • Analyzes GL account data for discrepancies and variances
  • Retrieves and organizes data into required reporting formats to provide a basis for comparison and evaluation
  • Presents and communicates important data findings across a wide spectrum of audiences including operations management and leadership team members
  • Initiates and drives process improvements for greater accuracy, financial control, and efficiency
  • May lead special projects as required

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field (MBA a plus)
  • 2+ years of work experience in FP&A or P&L analysis
  • Possess strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • A highly professional "customer service orientation"
  • Critical thinker with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Intense attention to detail
  • Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity and find solutions with less than perfect information
  • Willingness to ask for help and leverage the knowledge and experience of others to overcome obstacles and not become overwhelmed with analysis paralysis
  • Ability to work with and communicate with all levels of management
  • Experience with data warehouse and BI tools
  • Proficient in Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables, IF formulas, etc.) and PowerPoint
  • Ability to use discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential information from both the client and Servicon

WHY YOU WILL LOVE IT HERE

  • A friendly, respectful, energetic corporate culture that will allow you to thrive.
  • Work in an environment where you can see the difference you make daily!
  • Competitive base salary.
  • Incentive and annual performance-based bonuses.
  • Safe harbor 401(k) with company matching.
  • Paid time off including vacation, sick, holidays, bereavement, jury duty.
  • Exceptional health benefits with low costs (medical/dental/vision).
  • Life, accident, and disability insurance.
  • Employee assistance program (EAP).
  • Employee discounts to theme parks, theatres, sporting events, movies and more.
